Artist, traveler, Guide & Inspirer

A little about me: I love to travel, write and create art. And, I believe that a balance of childlike play, smart perspectives and working within your strengths allow personal freedom.

My profession has always been guided by my passion for communication, creativity and people.

For over 20 years I’ve worked with non-profits spanning art museums to assisted living and almost everything in between–either designing strategic campaign presentations, or creating curriculum and teaching art: skill based, therapeutic, and expressive. I’ve led a wide range of demographics in unique classes and workshops including memory care, mental health, youth and adults.

A thirst for variety and learning something new, is a good way to describe me. I have not shied away from unique art opportunities–film projects, stage sets, live painting and fashion, to name a few–all have a common thread: expression and freedom.

I grew up in Michigan and moved to the south at a young age. Studied Art at University of Memphis with a BFA focused on graphic design. My artistic expressions can best be described as explorative. Sometimes abstract with a touch of realism or collage, and mixed media including weaving or sculpting with paper mache.

“Travel allows us to be fuller versions of ourselves because it expands our bank of sights, sounds, cultures and connections. We get outside ourselves while becoming MORE on the inside.”
